and almost a new season as well. Autumn is almost here. Some days bring that hint of coolness, detected in the constant breezes. The nights bring dipping temps, while the days are still warm. While I always hate ti see summer end, I am always excited by Autumn! Yes the leaves change colors every year. Eventually they drop. We celebrate Halloween, and turn our minds to Thanksgiving Day, football and the blooming Mums. But it never stops being exciting, exhilarating, and a renewal of hopes and dreams.
One of the Maple trees in the front yard already has a few red leaves. While we have been busy in our daily lives, so has God been busy providing wisely for a time of dormancy, so that energy can be renewed for all life. I only regret I cannot devote more time to enjoying every little nuance of change.
We have planned to return to Cumberland Gap this coming weekend, for one last camping trip before winter. We are hopeful to see a splendid display of Fall colors. A higher elevation should see the colors more advanced than here below. But if not, it will be enjoyed to the fullest, and ever thankful that we can enjoy this wonderful blessing.
Home schooling has taken off, but not without it's own frustrations. Sidney caught a bug of sorts from one of his friends. While we had the natural remedies, which greatly reduced the severity, it still took a toll on his energy, and for a couple of days his eyes were sensitive to light. When we turned to his science homework, we discovered he needed a microscope. That was not expected, and so a microscope has been ordered. It should be here in a day or two and then we can resume science.Lately, I haven't had much time to play with graphics. But tonight I was determined to sit down and come up with something. And I will share as usual. I forgot to save a copy without my signature, as I usually do when I am sharing one. If you would like one personalized with your name, or a blank one, let me know. I will be happy to oblige.
May every blessing be yours! I will try to get back here more often. There are some current items I would like to add to the health forum. Especially concerning all the hype of the Swine Flu "pandemic" and the vaccine. Be sure and check back for those updates. Enjoy!
